For about two hours  David Gray gave 'em what they came for last night in San Francisco . Alternating between guitar (acoustic mostly) and piano and backed by a  four-piece band that features guitarist Neill MacColl, David Gray and his band kicked off the 2011 "Lost and Found tour" in only a dozen cities and be back around June and take off again around USA. .     

    The Tour centered on tracks from his 2010 album Foundling, as well as reinterpretations of songs from his entire catalogue.  Essentially the 'Lost and Found' tour will be a listening experience." he said and every aspect of the sound surrounding his performance is meticulously arranged. All his songs are mellow and beautifully arraigned with feelings of happiness flowing around the theater.

      David Gray has always made songs that  excel beyond the boundaries of your average artist. He draws you into his realm of his world of words and music to make you feel like your alive. There are only a small handful of musicians that can do that and have that talent now. Dave Matthews has quite a large fan base that follows his music and he plays in a vigor energetic similar way.  But David Gray doesn't need any props or fans to follow him.  David Gray keeps  relax's and lets you cherish his songs. A great artist and human being.
