The Experience Hendrix Tour 2010 concert came to San Francisco for two back to back shows featuring some of the world’s greatest musicians playing the music of Jimi Hendrix classics as such as “Purple Haze,” “Voodoo Child (Slight Return), “The Wind Cries Mary,” “Little Wing” and “Red House . Top of line artists performing include Joe Satriani, Jonny Lang, Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Brad Whitford (of Aerosmith), Doyle Bramhall II, Ernie Isley, Living Colour, Double Trouble’s Chris Layton,

along with bassist Billy Cox. Sacred Steel featuring Robert Randolph, and David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos are also performing on selected Experience Tour dates. And guest's like Sammy Hagar showed.

Living Colour

This was the Experience Hendrix tour fourth edition of concert tour that featured all-star line-ups. They were all great but Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Joe Satriani did a awesome job playing their hearts out.

The Experience Hendrix Tour is presented by Experience Hendrix, LLC, the Hendrix family-owned company founded by James Hendrix, Jimi’sfather, entrusted with preserving and protecting the legacy of Jimi Hendrix. Earlier this year, Sony Music Entertainment’s Legacy Division and Experience Hendrix venture to make all of Jimi’s extraordinary music, including classic albums, never before heard.

I have seen all these artists perform seperately dozens of times over the years and know most of them personally and it was still a great pleasure of being in the present of awesome guitar masters working together and putting their egos aside. This is music that everyone would enjoyed. Rock on Jimi
