Sausalito Art and Music Festival 2001

.....The festival, acknowledged
as "the Granddaddy" of outdoor fine art festivals, has seen its
greatest growth and been recognized as one of the "best" and
"most prestigious" festivals in the United States . The Festival
features a rich collection of museum quality, original works of fine art. The
award winning Sausalito Art Festival showcases the World's finest art and
crafts, as well as performing and culinary arts. And this years show of fine
musicians was impressive. To name a few, Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet

Starship / Dan Hicks & The Hot Licks / The Bacon Brothers / and Bonnie

. ....The festival draws over 60,000 art enthusiasts, art
collectors and beginning collectors from throughout the world to purchase and
view over 20,000 original works of art. The festival has always been known as a
showcase for local, established and emerging talent. This years best 270
Artists hand pick throughout the world exhibit their work at the Festival. This
Festival is for those with a passion for the world of great art and great
artists. The Festival features over 20,000 original works of contemporary,
impressionistic, and traditional art. Over one-million collectors from
throughout the world have visited the Festival since its inception in 1952.
Unlike most galleries and museums, the public has the opportunity to meet
privately with artist and commission originals. And as always the selection of
musicians were fantastic, Ritchie Havens and Bacon Brothers took the show.
